My name is (hear name) Jennifer Jasper (she/her), and I’m the Program Director in the Centre for Conflict Resolution at JIBC. I think (and hope) we’re making the world better by helping people develop their natural capacity for connection, curiosity, and kindness—even in the face of conflict.
Most of my life happens in the slice of chaos I call home—sharing space with my people and a motley crew of animal friends: goats, chickens, dogs, and cats (who, let’s be real, run the place!). Living in the mountains means embracing all things outdoorsy, including the bears that occasionally wander through the yard #pleasedonteatmychickens. Peace for me is being outside, hanging out with my animals, and soaking in the quiet (when it happens).
I’m so excited to meet you all and be part of this Peace Hub so that we can figure out, together, how we can make the world just a little bit better.
