Looking forward to connecting!

Hi folks,

I’m looking forward to meeting many of you for the first time soon and to re-connecting with everyone I’ve had the pleasure of working with before.

I am struggling to answer the question “what brings [me] peace?” I realize that I think of peace as requiring something active from me – finding, seeking, even actively receiving. No doubt that is something that I should reflect on before we meet! 🙂

That said, today I found peace in decorating an extremely gory Halloween cake! Meditative icing smoothing, the pleasure of creation, great company, and a treat for all the senses. I have intentionally not shared a photo of my creation because it truly was disturbing.
