My name is Christianne Paras. My pronouns are she/her or they/them (sya in my language). I am Ilokana, originally from the Ilokos region of the Philippines, which is its colonial name. I am also a racialized immigrant settler with the privilege of living and working on the ancestral, unceded, never surrendered lands of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm First Nations. I am the Executive Director of the Restorative Justice Association of BC. I place my work on the journey and with a deep commitment to the colorizing restorative justice movement.
